Job Responsibilities:

The General Helper will support various operations in the oil and gas industry. Main duties are:

Operational Support: Assist senior operators and field supervisors with rigging up/down equipment for well testing operations, power-driven pumps and manifold systems.
Safety: Implement safety protocols at all times. Conduct short safety meetings (Tool Box Meetings) before each operation.
Equipment Maintenance: Assist with daily equipment maintenance, ensure equipment is in good condition and report any issues or defects.
Documentation: Keep proper records, damage reports, maintenance files and other necessary documents to comply with company policies.
Quality Control: Ensure all equipment and tools meet quality standards, inspect quality files for updated certificates, calibrations and maintenance checklists before job mobilization.
Teamwork: Maintain good relationship with superiors, colleagues and subordinates to ensure smooth operation.
Training and Mentoring: Guide and assist new or less experienced team members to understand equipment and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Qualified candidate for General Helper position should have:

English: Good communication skills to report and understand safety protocols.
Computer: Intermediate computer knowledge to maintain documentation and data accuracy.
Equipment: Experience with well testing equipment and tools in oil and gas industry is an asset.
