Roles & Responsibilities

As a Safety Officer you will be responsible for:

Incident Investigation:

Investigate accidents and incidents.
Prepare reports to prevent future occurrences.

Risk Assessments & Audits:

Conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
Recommend and implement corrective actions.

Policy Development:

Develop and maintain policies and procedures.

Regulatory Compliance:

Compliance to local, state and federal regulations.

Safety Metrics Analysis:

Monitor and analyze safety metrics.

Communication & Awareness:

Safety focal point for all safety related queries.
Encourage open communication.

Emergency Preparedness:

Organize and participate in safety drills and emergency response exercises.

Industry Trends:

Keep up to date with industry trends and legislation.

Safety Campaigns:

Promote safety through campaigns.

Qualifications

Education:
Diploma or Degree in OH&S, Environmental Science, Engineering or related fields.
Certifications: NEBOSH, BOSIET, IOSH, H2S Awareness, PTW, STCW, SA Aramco Approval.
Experience:
5-10 years of OH&S experience.
3-5 years of offshore safety experience.
